Is it time to reshape your body?  Are you having trouble getting rid of that last problem area?  CoolSculpting can help.  CoolSculpting is an innovative, non-invasive way to contour your body by freezing unwanted fat away.   With the CoolSculpting procedure, people everywhere are getting a better view of themselves thanks to individual treatment plans.  CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared, safe and effective.

The CoolSculpting procedure works by delivering controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin.  The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), then die.  Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.  Once treated, fat cells are gone for good.

Best of all…No Surgery, No needles, No downtime.

What should I know about CoolSculpting?

The CoolSculpting procedure is designed for people who want to eliminate fat bulges in specific areas. The CoolSculpting procedure is not a weight loss solution (unlike weight loss surgery, such as gastric bypass). People who choose CoolSculpting often want a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. Good candidates for the CoolSculpting procedure have noticeable fat bulges in certain areas.

You may start seeing changes in your body as quickly as 3 weeks after your treatment. However, the most dramatic results are usually visible after 2 months. Several months after your treatment, your body will continue to flush out fat cells.

Will the results be permanent? The frozen fat cells become crystallized, then die. The dead fat cells then are naturally processed and eliminated by your body. CoolSculpting results are long term because those fat cells, and that fat bulge, are gone for good.

What should I expect on the day of treatment?

As you may expect, the CoolSculpting procedure will feel a little chilly. For the first 5 to 10 minutes, you may feel intense cold as the treated area becomes numb. Since most applicators use a vacuum to draw fatty tissue in, you may also feel some tugging, pulling, and/or mild pinching.

The CoolSculpting procedure is completely non-surgical which means no needles, no surgery, and no downtime.  You can easily return to your normal activities after the treatment. The procedure is so gentle you can schedule your appointment during your lunch break or schedule other procedures for the same day.  (maybe this would a good time to refresh your Botox) Patients often go back to work on the same day.

Are there any side effects?

Typical side effects after the procedure include temporary numbness, redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, and pain. For a few hours after the applicator is removed, many patients do experience redness in the treated area. In rare cases, this redness may persist for a few days, up to 2 weeks, but it will completely resolve itself.
